As a development consultant, Peter has worked with a number of clients including Warp, 42/Between the Eyes, Passion Pictures, Harbour Pictures as well as a long-standing association with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli at Eon Productions, which has included developing a slate of non-Bond projects and most recently working on Spectre with screenwriter John Logan and director Sam Mendes.
As a filmmaker, his work includes the documentaries Rising Phoenix and McQueen, both of which he co-directed, Vigo (dir Julien Temple, with James Frain and Romane Bohringer), the Bafta-nominated Onegin (dir Martha Fiennes, starring Ralph Fiennes and Liv Tyler) and several feature documentaries for Passion Pictures, most recently Listen to Me Marlon (dir Stevan Riley), about the life and work of Marlon Brando, which won for best writing at the International Documentary Awards, as well as receiving a Peabody Award, and Bafta and Emmy nominations.
As a producer, his work includes Kinky Boots with Harbour Pictures for Miramax which went on to become a Tony-winning Broadway and West End musical.
Peter is passionate about education and training, and has worked variously as visiting lecturer, tutor and external examiner on MA courses at University of Westminster, London International Film School and Royal Holloway University of London. He has also mentored on a number of industry schemes including Microwave, iFeatures, The Bureau’s SOS, LFS Hothouse, Filmonomics, NFM’s Rise programme, Creative England’s Market Trader and EIFF Connections.
