Kensington Aldridge Academy Scheme

Just because we spend our lives making telly doesn’t mean telly is life. We wanted to make a real difference in our local community, and began this mission by forging a wonderful relationship with our local school, Kensington Aldridge Academy.

We give talks, offer work experience and mentorships, and create films like this one to help with fundraising drives (66% of KAA’s students qualify for Pupil Premium, which means that their net household income is below £7,500 a year).

We’re acutely aware of the work that the TV industry needs to do to create a more transparent and inclusive environment, and we’re exploring more ways to achieve real impact towards this goal through 2022 and beyond.
